Can I get copy of my shot records?
Yes. However, we only keep medical records for 10 years.
Can I get birth control pills there?
Yes, we offer women's health now by appointment only. We provide a wide range of medical services including annual examinations with Pap smears. Various forms of contraception are also dispensed through our clinic. There is a $10 non-cancellation fee. Condoms are available at no charge.
Can I have an excuse for class?
Medical excuses will not routinely be issued by Health Services for missed classes or examinations. Exceptions may be made for extended or acute illnesses or injuries that necessitate hospitalization or medical withdrawal.
Note: Please note that class absence policies- excused or unexcused- are at the discretion of the faculty member.
Do I need an appointment to be seen?
It is best to make an appointment; however, walk-ins are permitted if time is available. Please call 931-372-3320 to schedule an appointment or schedule online via the Eagle Wellness Portal.
Do you see patients other than students?
Yes, aside from seeing students, we now see faculty/staff.
How do I get my medication?
We dispense most medications ordered by our practitioners.
Is there a cost for a visit?
No, office visits are free for students. There is a $20.00 office visit for faculty/staff per visit. Medicine and lab tests are at cost.
What are your office hours?
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Central (excluding University Holidays).
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept most major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, America Express and Discover), cash, and checks for faculty/staff payment. Student fees are charged to the student's university account.
