TDEC Environmental Scientist in Knoxville, TN	Description: The Land Reclamation Section within TDEC’s Abandoned Mine Land Program is seeking someone to become part of a collaborative team to assist with the restoration of Tennessee’s abandoned mine lands. The Environmental Scientist 2 position is based in our Knoxville Environmental Field Office and will conduct work in a multi-county area. The position will offer a healthy mix of office time and year-round fieldwork. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in environmental field activities, construction oversight, geographic information systems (GIS), and the ability to establish effective relationships with government agencies and individual landowners. Salary: $47,496-$71,400
